Dr. J K Sachdeva is M.B.A in Finance with additional specialization in Marketing (PGDMM), and Ph.D in Development Studies with Specialisation in Economics from CESS (Centre for Economics and Social Studies), Hyderabad.  He has worked with Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue for 26 years. For last twelve years, he is working as full time academician with various institutes and universities as freelancer. 

Experience and Achievements

Dr. Sachdeva is seasoned administrator, academician and researcher with good hold on quantitative techniques and econometrics. His area of research is International Trade and focus is on quantitative Economics and Research Methods. He has authored 14 books. His book 'Business Research Methodology' is very popular among researchers. He has authored 32 research articles which have been published in national and international journal.   He has presided over many national and international conferences. He has been professor and director with various institutes in Mumbai. He came in line with world class economists when he presented his paper in 4^th International Symposium of Economic Theory and Application, held at Athens, Greece in August, 2009. 

His contribution at Asian Conference of Social Sciences held at Osaka, Japan during June 2010 added new dimensions in international trade research. It was an honour for him to be present and share views with world class educationist and faculty development scientists at National University of Tainan, Taiwan during 24-25 March, 2011. His speech during 75th International Atlantic Conference on Indian Economy at University of Vienna, Austria on 4th April, 2013 was an eye opener for International management economists from world over. He is Ph.D guide/Panellist with seven universities in India and 23 Ph D scholars from various universities are working under his external guidance. He is Hon Editor of Journal of Global Economy, which is an international journal.
