MMS Program Objective: The objective of the programme is to provide participants with the opportunity to pursue a career in industry and to acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes that give a strong foundation for their growth to hold competent and responsible executive positions.
The curriculum has been designed to enable the participants to develop a thorough knowledge of the basic concepts and techniques of modern Management. Further, it aims to develop their analytical, decision-making and managerial skills.

Two years, full time - Four semesters
First and Third Semester - July to November

A valid score of centralized Management Academic Test (CMAT) conducted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and any other procedure prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) of Maharashtra centralized admissions.
Selection is through Common Entrance Test (CET) and centralized admission process of DTE of the State of Maharashtra or (CMAT) of AICTE. The students have to appear for the CET followed by Group Discussions and Interviews. The aggregate score for these is considered for admission in MMS course.
The reservation for admission is as per the Government rules. However, Freeship is decided by the Social Welfare Department of the Govt. of Maharashtra.

Each student is required to select a research topic and work under the guidance of a mentor from the middle of the second semester. There is a midterm evaluation of the project in the middle of the third semester. A panel of examiners will do the final evaluation of the project. The project carries 200 marks (8 – credits).
Internships are an important and integral part of the Post-Graduate Programmes, of SNDT Women’s University, where students intern with a chosen organization for 8 weeks after their second and third semesters for Internship I and Internship II respectively.

Attendance:The students are required to have 75% of attendance in each subject, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the final examination of the semester. In case the absence is due to illness, medical certificate will have to be produced immediately for consideration.
Fee Schedule / Refund of Fees:Fees will be charged according to the notifications of the Government of Maharashtra. Candidates wishing to take specialization in Systems and operations Management in the second year of the M.M.S. Programme will have to pay an additional fee of Rs. 7,000 in second year of the M.M.S. Programme.
