The objective of MBA HR Management programme is to impart professional and humanistic training mainly through the social sciences to aspiring women managers. A graduate in any discipline with 50% of marks at graduation for open category and 45% for reserved category, from an Indian University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Students who have appeared for final year examinations are eligible to apply.
Written test, group discussion and personal interview conducted by Jankidevi Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JDBIMS) or a valid score of any national level test taken during the current academic year.
The reservation for admission is as per the Government rules. However, Freeship is decided by the Social Welfare Department of the Govt. of Maharashtra. This is a self-financing programme and hence no freeship is available. The student has to pay the entire fees.

Each student is required to select a research topic and work under the guidance of a mentor from the middle of the second semester. There is a midterm evaluation of the project in the middle of the third semester. A panel of examiners will do the final evaluation of the project. The project carries 200 marks (8 – credits).
Internships are an important and integral part of the Post-Graduate Programmes, of SNDT Women’s University, where students intern with a chosen organization for 8 weeks after their second and third semesters for Internship I and Internship II respectively.
Students will undertake field visits to selected industries to develop an understanding of organizational setting during the second semester. The concurrent placement will be undertaken on two days a week. The student has to submit a report of the work carried out by her during the placement. A panel of examiners will evaluate the work done by the student. The project carries 100 marks (4-credits).
Attendance: The students are required to have 75% of attendance in each subject, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the final examination of the semester. In case the absence is due to illness, medical certificate will have to be produced immediately for consideration. For Business Communication, a student is expected to attend 75% of the classes/activities failing which a student has to re-register paying an additional fee for this course and complete it before she is eligible to complete the programme and participate in any placement activity.
